    Pluto and Miops are unreliable and fiddly. MK controls lightning bug or strike finder 2 are best.

    I have been using the Pluto trigger for about 5 years for lightning. It works well but is a bit twitchy when setting the sensitivity properly. The keys are f 11, 1/15th second, or slightly slower. For daytime, a 3-stop or 6-stop ND filter is a must. Shooting lightning at dusk or at night is much easier.

    I just bought the Strikefinder 2 and it looks like I may get a chance this week to try it out. I’ll keep you informed of my results.
