Without actually confirming which gimbal I had, I assumed I had the RS3 and started watching the video, only to realize I have the SC2. Well, let me tell you – I could not find a decent balancing tutorial for the SC2 (the DJI ones are horrible). So getting frustrated, I decided to use this tutorial for my gimbal, and it’s finally balanced – simple, easy, and it made sense. Thank you!!

Do you have any tips on how to balance your gimble when you’re out on location or outdoors where there may not be an even surface to set up and balance the gimble on?

  13. @YouTuberPranavkore on October 29, 2024 at 9:17 pm

    Always balance without lens cap

  14. @chanderthakur4373 on October 29, 2024 at 9:18 pm

After watching countless videos on YT on balancing my DJI Ronin RS4, none seemed very comprehensive. Most were over-explanatory and confusing. I stumbled onto your channel and this video, and Bam! Finally a straightforward tutorial on the setup of the RS3. It worked flawlessly with the RS4 as well! Thanks! You made a new subscriber!

No matter what I do I can’t balance the tilt access. I have a a7iv with a gm 16-36 but I don’t think it’s too heavy. Also I shoot vertical most of the time.

  26. @tn2943 on October 29, 2024 at 9:35 pm

Great video. I’m not able to get the last two steps to work. Using a C70 with a 15-35 RF

I cannot seems to get the roll axis to balance. It will always go back to center. Can anyone help me out here? I’ve been searching on google and it seems many people are having that problem. I have a sony a7s3. I tried with the screen in (to no avail) and with the screen flipped out… same result!

  40. @GreatEgretMedia on October 29, 2024 at 9:53 pm

Just got my RS3 today. I was worried about balancing my A7lll after watching some other videos. I had this video playing while I was balancing, I would stop, complete a step, and move on. 10 to 15 min later, it’s all good & saved for future reference. Best video out there.

  45. @kmsurya4822 on October 29, 2024 at 9:56 pm

Is this now compatible with Sony a6700?

  46. @dannymajorr on October 29, 2024 at 9:57 pm
