I love my Canon A-1
i learned in uni with a canon ae 1..50mm fd…super camera. was brand new, my ancle bought it in the 80s,,,used it a couple of times and just stored it for 20 years π,,,
Cool
My choose is Canon eos300v because it’s friendly to my EF lenses from DSLR 1dx
How do you develop these photos? Is it possible developing yourself digitally?
You’ll probably find a good old SLR or point and shoot film camera from an older generation family memember, who has one tucked away in a draw or cupboard.
Just ask a grandparent, parent, uncles or aunts, I guarantee one will have a film camera they don’t use anymore….π
great video, incredible vibes and perfect info for beginner photographers
I think some later gen SLR’s are pretty decent for beginners. You get better metering and autofocus, while keeping the option for manual control. Additionally they are dirt cheap because they are pretty undesired. I shot an EOS 500n(body is 20$) with a nifty fifty ef lens and was pretty impressed with my results.
My dad gave me his Canon A-1 he bought when he was 14. This Camera has seen many places around the world and most inportantly has seen my father grow up. When I hold this camera in my hand, it’s like a gentle hug from him. I tried other analogue cameras but this one feels like home.
From my own personal experience, I highly recommend the Olympus OM20. Itβs a mostly-mechanical SLR, but it does require a battery to drive the shutter – the act of winding the film on is still mechanical. The light meter in mine still works just fine, hence I keep it in Aperture Priority for the most part. Apparently the shutter can be driven with a motor to give a whopping five frames per second!!
Just found a Pentax K1000 at a nursing home garage sale for 5 bucks! Canβt wait to develop and see how they look
I got a zenit 12xp with it’s helios lens for only 10 bucks and honestly it’s a beast and a half
personaly i would recomend both Pentax and Olympus… all amazing cameras! π
No mention of Olympus OM???
I love your voice π
Very soothing
I have 2 k1000 and spotmatic and the other I was going to re sell bc I need money for film but I never go out and shootπ so Iβm now just practicing after 6 months so will sell both of them now

Hello Teo! I recently uncovered a Maruman MS320 film cam, I was wondering if you have any knowledge or any insight of it!
does anyone know what’s the title of the song starting from the timer 3:07
i honestly got into this by randomly seeing a canon autoboy sii (or sureshot z135) on ebay and buying it without thinking! I didnt know it was film camera but here i am now and i think ill be pretty happy with it, let me know if youve ever heard or used it Teo!
I shot with film cameras for 60+ years a Bolsley and a Rolaflex. I sold them. Now I find myself wanting to get another film camera.
thanks
I got my Minolta x500 from my Grandfather and i’m shooting my first film now…really exciting..i hope it doesn’t has light leaks π
i saw a soviet tank of a camera
i got a soviet tank of a camera
Iβve (re)started analog photography last year with my dadβs Nikkormat and from all cameras Iβve since bought itβs by far the best I own.
The experience Iβve made on the private second hand market ist the following: buying in bulk is worth it. Iβve had my eye on 2-3 SLRs and found them in different bulks for really cheap. Iβve since resold most of the unneeded equipment on eBay and have made great profit with that. The financial risk is minimal.
I’ve lately gotten into film photography and stubled upon your videos which have been very helpful. What I love most, however, is the vibe your videos have. The music, lighting, your voice. You’re my new favorite morning content while drinking my coffee.
Nice to see the pentax K1000 specifically recommended. I also have a canon P which is fun for a rangefinder experience. Also nice color grading on the video. π
You just earned a subscriber, really like your videos
Very weird sounding audio track

I hope one of them is available in Iraqi markets. Anyway, you make us love cameras. The way you film is so soothing and very calm. I just discovered your channel, it’s amazing.
Hey! I’m from India. Love this one Bhai seriously…I like your content and the cinematography bro…that’s awesome ππ
Hi there. Is it possible, to shoot sport photos with k 1000 or with its alternatives?
One question. What lens do you use on your Pentax K1000?
Hello hello, here’s everything I’d say to a friend who asks me which film camera they should buy. I hope this can help you out! π

Teo
me, an experienced film photographer, still watching these videos cause Iβm obsessed with film cameras
What did you film this on?!
Bro’s voice on in another level π₯
Hi Teo, thanks for making this very nice and informative video about film cameras. I am looking to buy a point and shoot camera (Olympus mju II Zoom 170) I was just wondering if you know any good and trusted shop here in Germany? I just moved here so I am not very familiar and my deutsch is very limited. Thanks in advance! π
I bought a Pentax K1000 because of your video! I’m in love with it. Found out the light meter is broken…Anyway, I met up with a seller from FB marketplace who sold me a 28mm lens. He wanted to troubleshoot my meter but no luck. But then he said he’d sell me his "backup" K1000 with working light meter…$20. I was so happy. Love your videos. I’m curious if you ever shoot video on film and if so…what you might recommend.
This video is gold!!
Btw I’m from the Philippines π΅π
