Emotion is a very,very important part of photography.
We stipulate this with our students who attend our workshops.
It would be a more convincing example of portraying emotion were the pictures taken in Carmel 2021 for those of us not able (or willing) to travel. Why do pictures with emotion have to be of exotic places?
Balance not emotion is the key – you entirely miss the point of what constitutes "great" in imagery.
